Globally Competitive Neighborhood Schools

Closing the achievement gap demands that we provide every child an engaging, interactive, age appropriate and up to date curriculum.

Government via desegregation, busing and school choice have, for far too long, sanctioned the idea that one must leave their neighborhood to get a good education. Our children deserve access to a high quality education at a neighborhood school within walking distance of their home. Instituting and investing in a culturally responsive curriculum rooted in the strengths of children, 80% of whom are black and brown, must be a priority.
